Bamford
Group 3 Soft
Bamford is a high yielding Group 3 soft wheat that brings a significant step up in yield to the
Group 3 sector producing yields in line with the highest yielding Group 4 soft wheats. It also
brings a strong disease package including 6.6 for Septoria Tritici, much needed in this Group. It
has medium tall straw with good lodging resistance combined with excellent grain quality with
a Spec weight of 78.7 and potential suitability for both distilling and export markets. With feed
wheat yields and potential premiums, Bamford makes a very attractive option.
