KWS Solitaire
Group 3
KWS Solitaire Is the highest yielding Group 3 Soft wheat added to the 2025-26
recommended list with yields in line with the feed wheats. It is a high tillering relatively tall
variety with a forward growth habit making it more suited to the main and later drilling
windows. KWS Solitaire’s excellent grain characteristics make it suitable for all soft wheat
markets; biscuit, distilling and export markets giving excellent marketability and potential
premiums. It has strong all-round disease resistance with an (8) for Yellow Rust and (6.7) for
Septoria Tritici with the added bonus of orange wheat blossom midge resistance. The high
yields, agronomic package and broad marketing options make KWS Solitaire a strong variety.
