Two-Row Feed Barley
KWS Valencis is the highest yielding two row winter barley on the new 2025-26 recommended
list. KWS Valencis is the latest in a long line of strong varieties from KWS that have performed
consistently over many years. From its parent KWS Tardis it brings excellent straw
characteristics including strong lodging resistance and excellent brackling resistance. KWS
Valencis has a very robust set of disease scores including 6.4 Rhynchosporium and 6 for Net
Blotch this alongside good quality high SpecWt grain. KWS Valencis’s inherent yield and
rounded agronomic package are why it is one of the most consistent two row winter barleys
available.
