SY Kingsbarn
Six-Row Hybrid Feed Barley
SY Kingsbarn is a very consistent high yielding six row barley performing across all UK regions.
SY Kingsbarn has a robust all-round disease resistant package including 7.1 for Mildew and 6.5
for Rhyncosporium. It has medium tall straw compared with other hybrid varieties and good
lodging resistance; this combined with early vigorous spring growth make it suited to a wide
range of soil types and very competitive against blackgrass helping to reduce seed return. This
along with early maturity and good spec weight is why SY Kingsbarn is the most widely grown
hybrid barley.
