KWS Vibe
Group 1
KWS Vibe Is a New Group 1 milling variety added to the 2025-26 recommended list. KWS Vibe
combines the traits of two excellent milling wheats; KWS Zyatt a UK Group1 milling wheat and
the German variety Bernstein, a German Elite milling wheat. It has medium height stiff straw
with excellent lodging resistance, medium high tillering and development similar to KWS Zyatt.
Bernstein brings improved resistance to both septoria tritici 6.6 and much needed yellow rust
resistance [8] as well as improved grain quality including excellent grain protein levels of 13.2%.
With the best all round disease resistance and highest protein levels of any Group 1 variety;
KWS Vibe should be part of any milling wheat growers' varietal mix.
