KWS Extase
Group 2
KWS Extase is a Group 2 variety with a set of strong disease scores including a 7.0 for
Septoria Tritici giving security around this difficult to manage disease. It is a fast developing,
taller variety with stiff straw and early maturity, making it most suited to the main and later
drilling window and medium to lighter land. However, it performs well on most soil types.
Although a taller type, KWS Extase has excellent lodging resistance and can produce high
yields of good quality Group 2 wheat suitable for domestic and export markets with the
possibility of attracting a premium.
